NW Regional Manager
Permanent Part-Time 24 hrs per week
Location - Terrace
We are recruiting an energetic and motivated individual to provide contract management and program development for our services in the Northwest. Additionally, the Regional Manager provides support and supervision to staff currently located in Smithers, Terrace and Haida Gwaii.
The Regional Managers key roles include:
Manage the Northwest contract and budget
Implement and monitor the Northwest Regional Development Plan
Support, supervise and train Regional Coordinators in the Northwest
Liaise with regional mental health representatives including Northern Health Adult Mental Health & Addictions, Mental Health Advisory Committees, Ministry of Children and Family Development
Work in collaboration with BCSS/NHA staff across the north and assist with program and service development and implementation
Assist Regional Coordinators with Regional training sessions (Teacher and Facilitator Training) as needed
Collaborate with other community agencies across the Northwest to develop strong partnerships and augment mental health services as needed
Support Provincial Staff and Board initiatives
Qualifications:
Post Secondary education in a relevant discipline desired
Experience as a teacher/facilitator is an asset
Knowledge of the BC Mental Health System is an asset
Experience working with families and their relatives with a serious mental illness is an asset
Experienced in contract management and development
Experienced with proposal writing
Proven ability to supervise staff
Ability to travel over a large geographical area (vehicle required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills
